*ACCUSED Vivek Chauhan S/O Lt. Sh. Babu Lal R/O E-2-128 Block E-11 Madangir Phase-2 South Delhi Age 23 years* was arrested in the case after 10.70gm Chitta/Heroin was recovered from accused near Rawatan bridge, Kotkhai
On dated 25/09/2023, 03 days police custody remand of accused Vivek Chauhan was obtained by the Honorable Court and on 26/09/2023, the accused Vivek Chauhan had told in interrogation that a person named Veer from Delhi had given him these contrabands to sell in Shimla and the accused only recognized the person named Veer. The investigation was to be done and who all were involved in this drug trade, for which police custody remand of the accused was obtained for 4 days from 27.09.2023 to 30.09.2023 and took accused Vivek Chauhan above to Delhi on 28/09/2023.
when police party were bringing back the arrested accused to police station Kotkhai in private car. Who had stopped at Motor Market No. 331 Manimajra at 10 pm to get the tire of the car checked. So during this time the accused Vivek Chauhan has escaped from custody by dodging the above mentioned police party and search was conducted at every possible place but nothing could be found about the accused. On which case number 116/23 dated 30/09/2023 U/S 224 IPC has been filed in Police Station Manimajra, Chandigarh.
The police party again left for Delhi and Chandigarh to arrest the above accused Vivek Chauhan. After a lot of hard work, the above *accused Vivek Chauhan was re-arrested from Delhi on 24.10.2023* after a continuous search operation lasting more than 25 days.
The above accused Vivek Chauhan was presented in the Honorable Court ACJM Theog on 25.10.2023. The honorable court has sent the above accused Vivek Chauhan on judicial custody remand for 10 days till 03.11.2023
